A better way to manage your dialysis away from base.

Our system provides a single online location and process for dialysis centres to exchange all the information they need to facilitate patient travel

What is DialysisAway?

DialysisAway is the new, easier way for dialysis centres to easily coordinate the paperwork required when patients travel. Centres exchange everything required online, replacing all the calling and chasing. If it’s easier for centres, it will create more opportunities for patients.

Can my centre use DialysisAway?

Yes! Any dialysis centre worldwide can use DialysisAway.

How does DialysisAway work?

DialysisAway organises all the information that centres need to exchange in an efficient and secure online process, eliminating paperwork and reducing chasing. This makes it easier for medical staff to manage alongside their regular duties.

Do I need to pay?

You won’t need to pay us, but you may be required to fully or partly fund your treatment costs with clinics, just as you do today. There are no charges for cancellations, although we encourage you to give centres as much notice as you can.

What do I need to do?

Click the Register My Clinic button below. If you centre isn’t registered we can contact them and let them know how to get set up. The more centres registered with DialysisAway, the easier it will be for you and other patients like you to travel.

How is DialysisAway different from today?

You’ll find treatment slots with your coordinator and with intermediaries in the same way as today. However, the process between the clinics is much faster, so as more centres adopt the process, required advance notice periods should reduce. Unlike today, you’ll be able to track the status and details of your current and past trips online, via your own dashboard.

Travelling using DialysisAway

Is your clinic registered?

  • The only thing you need to do is make sure your clinic is registered, otherwise it cannot coordinate trips on DialysisAway.

  • Once it is and you’ve confirmed treatment slots at a destination, your coordinator will guide you through the process.

  • Registration is free and your clinic will then be able to rapidly access and coordinate trips with any other Registered Clinic.

  • If your clinic is not registered, click the button below and we’ll get in touch with them for you.
