Why do I need to enter payment details?

Once an Account chooses to subscribe its first Centre, it will be asked to enter payment details in relation to the subscription for that Centre and any future Centres it chooses to register under that Account.

What happens if our Centre doesn’t subscribe following the free trial?

After the free trips have expired, the Centre will still be able to access the trips it has completed and will be visible to other Registered Clinics. However, it won’t be able to commence any new trips on the platform

What if a patient wants to dialyse at my centre but is not travelling from their home clinic?

For each trip, the Sending Clinic needs to be a patient’s regular home Clinic, with approval given by the patient’s regular Doctor.  So if a patient is undertaking a single trip involving three stops, there should be one trip record

Can DialysisAway accommodate group bookings?

Multiple patients cannot entered on the same booking; there should be a separate booking via each participant’s respective home and destination Clinics for each Patient travelling in a group.

How do I deal with new enquiries?

Enquiries (from Patients, intermediaries or other clinics) are handled outside DialysisAway.  If your clinic is registered on DialysisAway and is either in a free trial period or has been subscribed, then other Registered Clinics can set up new trips to

Can I transfer current trips running outside the platform onto it?

Bookings need to be set up fully on DialysisAway from the start, as the platform is designed to hold the entire trip record.  So existing trips would need to be set up from the start.
